  1. that vastness of space in the picture makes me think that your altered vision will take you to safety… a better place, eventually, inshalla 🙂

  2. 🙂
well that depends on what my standard vision is!

  3. hmmm, it just would be a shame to have an altered vision that isn’t quite a better or modification of the original one, whatever it is… i always think that the purpose of altering “something” is usually to make it better… well, maybe that’s just me…

  4. of course, you are correct secratea! and i hope that this is how the rest of the world actually thinks. however, due to the simple fact that they don’t, we may have an altered vision to begin with.
deviated from nothing that is normal, but everything that simply is.
dramatic, colorful, vibrant vision is a deviation from what simply is.
what is even more interesting, is how this altered vision of mine is all you know of that sunset. your vision of this sunset is that of new and open spaces to be explored and conquered, while others may feel they are things to consume and assimilate us into something we have no hold over.
from all this, i think it’s safe to say that “vision” has no effect on anything that actually is, but rather, it effects how we react to what is. now imagine controlling your vision!! now that’s power!

  5. yes, what you’re saying is true…
having a certain vision will definitely effect the way we react to things (it actually defines it), but controlling it is the much greater achievement that, honestly speaking, provides us with control and power yet might make our lives dull after the initial celebration of victory…therefore I say, have a vision yet allow it to keep altering as experiences do, which in their turn constantly define and redefine our own subjectivity

  6. yes i do not mean to void yourself of your own taste of vision, but rather to have the ability to strip everything but the pure hard facts. that is, when making important choices in our lives.

  7. wow mashaAllah 🙂
